My Dream #2

So here I am floating in dream space when I get zapped into a world where I am a flapper in the modern day world. I was talking on the internet with my friend Ali who is in a smashing suit. As I was video chatting with him, Ali (the same guy i'm talking to) walks in to the room (while i'm talking to him online) and tells me that I need to say bye to whoever i'm talking to because I'm late for the ball (he was to escort me). So in total, there were two Alis who were the same person. Instead of taking me to the ball, he took me to this place where a show was to take place. The director of the show had never seen me before and when he saw me he said that he would love for me to be a part of the show, but first i must practice. So the whole game was to see if i could eat a banana whole in less than 40 seconds. i believe sometime while i was practicing someone tried to shove a banana in my ear? but i'm not sure. Anyways so i was playing against paris hilton and she lost. she ran to the dressing room and i followed her and she was crying her eyes out. the more she was crying the older she got. her hair slowly turning grey, wrinkles slowly appearing. so i told her that i would fix her hair and her make up. she insisted that she wanted to put on her own lipstick. so i let her. then, she kept trying to put on her lipstick but she kept messing it up. in my mind i was getting annoyed but i remained quiet. she kept putting more and more on but it looked like she wasn't putting on anything. well that's how it ended. with paris hilton trying to fix herself. ah, how my subconscious mind likes to play tricks with me sometimes.

My Dream #1

Last night I had the strangest dream. Seemed like something that came out of a story book. It begins like this… I wanted to go to barnes and noble to use my employee discount but I didn’t want to go to the one next to my house. So I went to the one in Missouri city (I don’t know if there is one in Missouri city). So I went in my car and started to drive but I wasn’t looking at the road, I was driving by looking at my gps. I turned on Lexington blvd (you can’t get to Missouri city on Lexington…?) and I continued to go straight. I passed the barnes and noble and ended up at a stop sign where there was a policeman waiting to see if anyone does not stop so he can give them a ticket. I didn’t stop but he was busy while I passed him so i got lucky. After the stop sign there was a dead end with some sort of mountain with a shallow cave. The cave had two holes and on the other side of the two holes was a beach scene. I got out of my car to examine both holes. The first had an old mattress and old curtains. It looked like it could either be ancient or some homeless person was living there. The second had what looked like a pile of dirt with a black hole in it. Inside the black hole was some glittery cat eyes looking at me, drawing me closer, wanted me to follow it. I believe it was my cat Vladimir. I decided to go into the hole and follow him. Sort of like the “going down the rabbit hole” scene from alice in wonderland. However I didn’t “fall”. I walked into a beautiful living room. It was lavishly decorated with gaudy furniture and decoration. I walked around the mansion looking from room to room. Going up the stairs and down the stairs and loving every moment. Then this small boy comes up to me. He’s blond and young . He comes up to me and says “Hey samira, your finally here.” I ask him where I was. He said “Come, I’ll show you”. He takes me outside his house and I swear it was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I was walking on a wide dirt road (the dirt was golden) to my right there was the glittering ocean. To my left were these strange buildings. They were all really high and topped with domes similar to those of the st. basil’s cathedral. At the bottom of each building was a large bedroom, also lavishly decorated. There were no windows on any of the buildings because the weather was so nice all the time. There were many people looking at me strangely since they’ve never seen me. The road kept going and the sky was of blues and purples and pinks. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The young boy told me that this beautiful place was called Tomball. (there is a tomball, tx… apparently it looks nothing like what I’ve described). I told the boy that I had to go home and tell my mother what I have just seen. And he said that before I went, there was something I must know…. Things in tomball didn’t always appear what they seemed. And I was like what do you mean? And he said that I’ll find out soon enough. So I went back to my mother and told her that I had to show her this amazing place. So I took her back to the cave and I saw the cat eyes again, only this time my cat Vladimir actually came out. I turned around and found that my whole family had joined because my mom had called them to come see. I was mad at my mom because she couldn’t just keep things to herself. But we all went into the boy’s house, only this time it was night time. Everyone was really loud and I was trying to quiet them down because I had figured that the boy and his family were sleeping. I walked into the boy’s room and he was like oh, you’re here again! And I was like yes, so what did you want to tell me? And he looks at my mom. My mom told me that there was something she needed to tell me. My father was not really my father but instead was this evil creature who lived in this house. The creature was HIM from the powerpuff girls. I wanted to find my real father so I searched in every room in the house. I finally got to a half opened door where I saw HIM in a chair sitting. I opened the door, but instead of seeing HIM, I saw a flash of light and then complete darkness. Which is where I woke up.

Turtle Racing

So, yesterday we went to a bar and they happened to have turtle racing that night. Now, I don't know what PETA has to say about this but it didn't seem to "harm" any animals in the process (I have 4 pets that I take very good care of). If your not familiar with turtle racing like I was before yesterday, basically what they do is they put some turtles (with numbers taped to their shells) in the middle of a large circle within the racing ring and whichever turtle gets out of the circle first wins. There's no betting on turtles nothing, it's just for fun. People can even race their own turtles if they wanted. Here's a picture of what it looks like :



Anyways, I thought this was kind of neat to share since I've never even heard of it before. Does anyone think that this is animal cruelty? Assuming that they are put into a regular pet turtle habitat after they are raced. Would love the hear your thoughts.

Need a long good book?

Need a long good book? I have one for you, Anne Rice's The Witching Hour. I believe it's the first book to her three-book series Lives of the Mayfair Witches. If your interested in the supernatural, an Anne Rice book is the way to go! I haven't quite finished the book just yet (because I'm a slow reader and because I lost it for about a year ahah) but so far, the book hasn't let me down! I would post a picture of what my book looks like but I have a pretty beat up copy (been through at least 5 moves, who knows what my mother did with it before i had it). But here's what it's supposed to look like :



Anyways now that I'm finally almost finished with this book, can anyone recommend me another book? Doesn't have to be long, and doesn't have to be about anything supernatural
